Art Friday! (Yesterday not today, obviously).

Last night I plated one of my favorite games, exquisite corpse, with a friend who is artistically inclined like myself. He makes cute/funny/exciting things like these guys in this video.

Anyways, it’s a game that the Surrealists did for fun and to spark creativity. The point of the game is to divide the pages into thirds (although we did quarters so we each had two turns) and one person draws the head first and leaves little neck lines so the next artist can connect the upper torso to the head without seeing the head. What your left with is a collaboration and a silly looking thing/person. The first few we did were a little safe and boring, but the best ones turn out after you start purging your brain for creative ideas. Things like a severed head hovering over a neck bone (his idea), or a ripped Amazon man with an arrow in his leg (me) would never have happened in the first few rounds. 


Although only chocolate milk was drank last night, it also makes for a fun drinking game!
